So it took me a while to get it posted up but here is my pen tool self portrait project. We had to create a vector picture of ourselves from a photo and put it in a different setting working from a found photo. So mine is a picture from my high school graduation (hence the white dress and the bouquet of roses) standing in a winter scene. I simplified the background picture quite a bit because when I had a lot of the extra tree branches and snow, it detracted from the figure too much. I wanted the setting to be somewhat secondary with the trees serving to frame the figure.
